These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of LinkVolv, operated by Weavolv ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using LinkVolv, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
LinkVolv is an open-source, AI-powered bookmark and knowledge management tool. The Service is offered across a server-driven entitlement model:
- Free: Limited bookmarks and a bounded AI trial allowance.
- Pro: Recurring paid access with ongoing AI, semantic search, archiving, and higher usage limits.
- Lifetime Plus: A one-time paid plan that includes AI access for 24 months.
- Lifetime Base: The non-AI state users keep after Lifetime Plus expires, with bookmarks and storage preserved.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We are not liable for any loss arising from unauthorized use of your account.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
Paid plans and renewals are processed through Paddle.com ("Paddle"), our Merchant of Record. This may include recurring Pro subscriptions, AI renewal add-ons, and one-time Lifetime Plus purchases. Paddle handles billing, payment processing, sales tax, and VAT on our behalf. When you purchase a paid entitlement, your contract for payment is with Paddle, and their Terms of Service and Privacy Policy apply to the transaction. You authorize Paddle to charge your payment method as required by the product you select, including recurring billing where applicable.
Prices may change with 30 days' prior notice. Active recurring subscriptions will not be affected until the next renewal period.
5. Cancellation
You may cancel recurring Pro or AI renewal billing at any time. Upon cancellation, you retain access until the end of your current billing period. One-time Lifetime Plus purchases do not renew automatically; after the included AI window ends, eligible accounts continue on Lifetime Base.

7. User Content and Data
You retain ownership of all content you save through the Service. Your data is stored on Weavolv servers to provide sync and search functionality. Data is transmitted securely over encrypted connections.
You grant us a limited license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service (e.g., generating AI summaries, indexing for search).
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems or networks
- Use the Service to distribute malware or harmful content
9. Intellectual Property
The LinkVolv client is open source under the MIT License. The Service infrastructure, branding, and proprietary features (including AI models and managed cloud services) remain the property of Weavolv.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Weavolv shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may export your data before termination. After termination, we will retain your data for a reasonable period to allow retrieval, after which it may be deleted.
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Weavolv is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law principles.
